Amazon Stranded Inventory
Meanwhile, your afternoon goes to flat files and forum threads, when it belongs to the parts of the business only you can move.
You relisted or fixed what Amazon pointed to, and the units are still stranded
The stranded reason changes or doesn't match what you see in the listing
Units appear under SKUs you never created, like Amazon.Found or FBA Missing SKUs
Stranded units keep surfacing after a bulk upload, a variation change, or a catalog update
You're ready to send another shipment, but the ASIN still has stranded units on it
You already tried the fix Amazon recommended, and you don’t want to keep testing fixes until something works
Amazon files them all under the same heading, so we trace each one to its source and fix it there.

Guidance on the right path for stock that won't return to sale
It is FBA inventory sitting in a fulfillment center with no active offer attached, so customers can't buy it. Amazon's fix is to either reactivate the listing or remove the units, but the cause varies widely.
Amazon flags it by email and on the Fix Stranded Inventory page in Seller Central. If you've already made a fix yourself, Amazon notes that updates can take up to 48 hours to reflect.
Relisting only works when the listing is the actual problem. If something else is holding the units back, like missing information, an approval issue, or a catalog conflict, the status can return or change. That is when finding the actual cause saves you from repeating the same steps.
Amazon generates these SKUs when units arrive at a fulfillment center without proper labeling or with unexpected identifiers. They show up as stranded because no listing matches them. We trace which products they belong to and resolve them.
Not for the affected ASIN. Amazon states that if you add an ASIN with stranded units to a shipment, you'll receive an alert and the shipment won't be processed.
The units stay unsellable. Amazon can also remove stranded inventory from its fulfillment centers based on your auto-removal settings, so it is worth checking sooner rather than later.
We review what is happening with your stranded units, identify the cause, and tell you whether there is a path forward. If there is, you receive a quote for the remediation.
Your stranded inventory report and any notices Amazon has sent. Once you approve the work, we handle the rest.
No one can guarantee how Amazon responds. That is why we review the issue first so you find out whether a clear path exists before you commit to a fix.
It depends on the cause. Some issues clear quickly, while others involve Amazon's review process. Once we understand what is causing it, you will know what to expect for your specific case.
